Sculpting the Doll’s Head

The head is where the soul of the doll begins. I start with a simple base and slowly build the form in polymer clay, focusing first on proportions and balance. Only after that do I shape the features — eyes, nose, lips, and expression.

This stage is quiet and intuitive. Tiny changes can completely transform the character. Once finished, the head is baked, refined, and prepared for painting.
